Vektor

The Vektor stabilizer was our pandemic baby, released in 2020.

This rod offers incredible hybrid performance for both compound and recurve archers, and it was the first tapered stabilizer in the RamRods line up. This new design allowed us to create a thin and stiff rod. When it comes to stiffness, wind efficiency, and vibration damping, the Vektor has the best combination of all three. Athletes from both divisions have shot with this stabilizer at the highest level, from World Championships to the Olympics with success.

Who it's for

The Vektor stabilizer is an awesome option for advanced archers that shoot between 5-25 ounces of weight. This works great for compound archers who prioritize wind efficiency and don't need the stiffness of the Beast to handle their moderate amount of mass weight. Recurve archers who lean towards a higher than average mass weight also love the Vektor since it can handle more top end weight than the Ultra Series.

As with all RamRods stabilizers, the Vektor is filled with VIBRO-Core, a rubber based internal damping system to reduce post-shot vibration. For archers interested in more, there is also the optional Steve Wijler Tungsten Damping Edition: it is 3 ounces of tungsten powder at the distal end of the stabilizer, and it acts as a dual-density vibration damper and internal weight.

Vektor 2

The Vektor 2 stabilizer is the newest launch, introduced early 2026.

We took all of the features that our athletes loved from the original Vektor and gave them an update. The profile has been updated with a refined Wind Taper geometry, increasing the base diameter while maintaining a narrow tip. This keeps the excellent wind efficiency of the original Vektor while improving stiffness, vibration reduction, and overall shot reaction. The result is a stabilizer that reduces tip flutter and creates a more confident aiming picture. We also redesigned the end caps to increase structural strength at the base while minimizing mass at the tip. This raises the natural frequency of the stabilizer and improves responsiveness during aiming corrections.

If you were a fan of the original Vektor, you're going to love the Vektor 2.

Who it's for

The Vektor 2 sits in the center of the RamRods premium stabilizer lineup. It balances stiffness and wind efficiency, making it one of the most versatile high performance stabilizers we produce.

It is slightly stiffer but a bit less wind efficient than the Ultra 4, and slightly more wind efficient but less stiff than the Beast. Because of this balance, the Vektor 2 works well for a wide range of archers across both compound and recurve.

Compound Archers
If you prioritize wind efficiency for outdoor competition and run 25 ounces or less on your front rod, the Vektor 2 might be right for you.

Recurve Archers
If you want more stiffness combined with a strong wind performance and run more than 10 ounces on your front rod, this stabilizer will give you a great shooting experience.

Vektor 2 TYPE s

The Vektor 2 S is a stiffer variant of the Vektor 2, designed for archers who want increased rigidity while maintaining the same wind efficient profile.

The Vektor 2 and Vektor 2 S share the same geometry, dimensions, and overall design. The difference is in the carbon layup. The S version uses a higher modulus carbon construction that increases stiffness by approximately 13 percent, giving archers a more rigid and responsive feel. If you like the feel and wind performance of the Vektor 2 but want additional stiffness and weight carrying capability, the Vektor 2 S delivers that performance without changing the overall system feel.

Who it's for

The Vektor 2 S is designed for archers who want a stiffer, more responsive stabilizer while maintaining excellent wind efficiency.

It shares the same geometry and overall feel as the Vektor 2, but with increased rigidity that benefits archers running more weight or preferring a more controlled, stable aiming experience. Within the RamRods lineup, the Vektor 2 S sits between the Ultra v4 and Beast, offering a strong balance of stiffness and wind efficiency.

Compound Archers
If you prefer a more rigid, controlled aiming feel with a moderate to heavier weight setup, the Vektor 2 Type S could be a great option for you gear.

Recurve Archers
If you want more stiffness combined with a strong wind performance and run more than 12 ounces on your front rod, this stabilizer will give you a great shooting experience.
