Should You Use a Fixed or Adjustable V-Bar?
Nearly all recurve archers rely on side rods mounted in a V shape to improve stability and fine-tune mass distribution. To run them properly, you’ll need either a fixed or adjustable V-Bar bracket, and each option comes with clear tradeoffs. Fixed mounts are lightweight, durable, and simple, while adjustable models allow precise angle tuning at the cost of added weight and price.
Choosing the right V-Bar comes down to whether you value simplicity or flexibility. If your setup is established and you want a reliable, set-it-and-forget-it solution, fixed makes sense. If you’re still refining your form or like to experiment with balance, adjustable gives you the control to dial it in.
