a guide to picking your next set of stabilizers
When it comes to choosing your set of stabilizers, there’s a few factors to consider: budget, shooting style, and competition level. We have a rod for everything in those categories and everything in between. Keep reading to get the run down on all of our rods, and if you’re still unsure, check out this quiz to get paired with the best stabilizer for you. All of the rods have internal damping with the RamRods VIBRO-Core technology that you can learn more about here.
Budget
XP
Our goal with the XP stabilizer was to make a high quality rod that is accessible at any level and price point. If you’re getting started on your archery journey and you want a high quality stabilizer without breaking the bank, the XP is an excellent choice. This is an amazing entry to a better experience with wind efficiency and vibration damping. The high grade carbon is stiff and perfect for both compound and recurve archers that shoot a mass weight between 1 and 8 ounces.

intermediate
K2 v2
The K2 v2 stabilizers built upon the original K2 v1 rods, by maintaining a solid balance between stiffness and wind efficiency. This intermediate level stabilizer is great for archers that are shooting outdoors more and don't want to worry about the wind. It was designed with a higher grade of carbon, allowing it to be stiffer so it has a smaller diameter for more wind efficiency: you’ll appreciate that when it’s time to shoot outdoors. This is also great for a compound or recurve archer who shoots 1-10 ounces on weight.

Advanced
Ultra v4
After years of research, design, and testing, the Ultra v4 was developed as the recurve stabilizer for the elite archer. If you’re an advanced recurve archer that uses 1-12 ounces of weight, the Ultra v4 is for you. With the thinnest tip diameter in the market, this rod is extremely wind efficient, so outdoor shooting doesn’t have to be your enemy. The Ultra v4 is the stabilizer of choice for many recurve archers at the Olympic and World Stage.

Ultra v4 Type s
This stabilizer isn't for every archer, and that's okay. Say you like all of the features from the Ultra v4, but you want to be able to shoot with more mass weight. The Ultra v4 S is 10% stiffer, so you get the same wind efficient build with the added bonus of being able to handle more weight. It maintains the same thinness and wind efficiency, but provides the stiffness needed for recurve archers that want more mass weight without sacrificing anything.

Vektor
This rod is the premium of the hybrids and it will give you elite dual performance. Both recurve and compound shooters will have a great experience with this stabilizer if they shoot with 4-20 ounces of weight. This is geared towards recurve archers who shoot more mass weight than the Ultra v4 or the Ultra v4 Type S recommends, and it is also for compound archers who don't need as much weight and won't fully benefit from the stiffness of the Beast stabilizer.

Beast
The compound final boss. The favorite of top compound archers all over the world. It's made multiple appearances on the world stage. and it was made to handle as much weight as you need: from 8-50 ounces, this rod has you covered. Although the Beast has a wider diameter, it was designed with a tapered shaft, so it can still be both stiff and wind efficient. No matter the weather conditions, this stabilizer won't budge.
